Produced by Fred Miller Productions, this 1970 documentary goes behind the scenes with popular folk music trio Peter, Paul and Mary. Accompanying the group on tour across the United States, director Tobe Hooper captures members Peter Yarrow, Paul Stookey, and Mary Travers rehearsing and performing as well as appearing at civil rights and anti-war demonstrations. Peter, Paul and Mary experienced enormous success in the 1960s before breaking up in 1970 to pursue solo careers. Born in Austin, Hooper is perhaps best known for directing the films The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) and Poltergeist (1982).
