In the interview, Glover discusses the six weeks of training that went into preparing for the character. He also comments on his portrayal of Nelson Mandela in the television movie Mandela (1987). Faires worked as a special project director and entertainment critic/reporter at KVUE-TV, Austin's ABC affiliate, from 1976-1989.
