In this 1975 footage, Trinity Professor Douglas Brackenridge sits down with a panel of fellow faculty members to share stories about Dean Bruce Thomas. The panel includes Psychology Professor Ken Kramer, Englislh Professor John Brantley, Sociology Professor OZ White, and English Professor Coleen Grissom. Grissom also served as Dean of Students. Thomas served as Trinity’s Dean of the University from 1947 to 1975. He also stepped in as Acting President from 1950 to 1951 and 1976 to 1979. Thomas Residence Hall, opening in 1965, was named in his honor. Founded in 1869, Trinity University is a private university in San Antonio.
