This 2000s home movie filmed by Mocha Jean Herrup captures a uniform-themed costume party taking place at Gaby & Mo’s, an Austin gay bar. In this segment, the winners of the costume contest are announced. Working mainly in documentary and short film, Herrup recorded many live performances and public events related to the LGBT community throughout the 1990s and 2000s; much of the fotoage in the Mocha Jean Herrup Collection exists at the intersection of home movie and documentary film.
