The 11 finalists assemble in San Angelo for Wool Fiesta Week, showing off items from the $4000 all-wool wardrobe to be awarded the winner. Next, contestants give a three-minute talk on wool before the judges. Finally, the court of candidates are formally presented before the press and the crowd. 21-year-old Earline Whitt of Austin is crowned Miss Wool of 1957.

My name now is Peggy Haverlah. I live in Brady, Texas, In reviewing your video, there is nothing related to the year I participated and was crowned. I was just curious and of course disappointed. I really spent 2 years traveling with the bureau and was thrilled to work with such great people.At this time I would like an explanation if possible. It has great and fond memories.
