Looking for ways to engage your students in the Classroom Cloud?
The Texas Archive of the Moving Image (TAMI) provides access to a library of newly discovered Texas film treasures relating to Texas, U.S., and World History, as well as offers FREE lesson plans coordinated to the Social Studies TEKS for grades K–12.
Each lesson plan links to videos found in TAMI’s online library. By using these primary and secondary source videos, students will analyze and compare varied Texas and U.S. history topics of the 19th and 20th centuries, and develop analytical, critical thinking, and viewing skills.
Point your virtual classroom to https://texasarchive.org/education to explore lesson plans with diverse topics such as Early Texas History, Business and Commerce, NASA, Politics, Texas Culture, and Texas Landmarks. Plus, there are activities for students to digitally explore the Lone Star State.
