Presented by the Texas Archive of the Moving Image in partnership with the Pioneer Museum, the Gillespie County Historical Society, the Hill Country Film Society, and the Texas Film Commission, Fredericksburg and Hill Country residents, organizations, and businesses are invited to bring their old films and videotapes for FREE digitization. Your films and videotapes are valuable records of Texas history and culture, and with your help, Texas' media heritage will be available for future generations to appreciate. To qualify for free digitization:
- up to 50 films and 10 videotapes,
- be Texas-related (filmed in Texas, by a Texan, or be about Texas), and
- a digital copy is contributed to the archive.
TAMI will digitize the materials in Austin and return them by mail to the owners at no cost, along with a digital copy.
