Working with social studies professionals in a one-day conference, Caitlin McColl, Education Specialist for the Texas Archive of the Moving Image, will be highlighting archival moving images related to Texas and U.S. history available at www.texasarchive.org, including primary source footage of the Galveston Hurricane, the Civil Rights Movement, the oil industry, ranching, agriculture, and more.

Caitlin McColl will be sharing the Texas Archive of the Moving Image's free K-12 educator resources, along with helpful tips for using archival film in social studies classrooms across the state. She will be presenting accessible historical content available at www.texasarchive.org.

Education Specialist Caitlin McColl will share TAMI's free K-12 online primary source social studies resources with educators and curriculum specialists on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 in San Antonio at the Region ESC-20 Center. Region ESC-20 serves over 80 school districts, many looking to better integrate technology in the classroom.
