The Texas Film Round-Up provides FREE digitization for Texas-related films and videos in exchange for the donation of a digital copy of the materials to www.texasarchive.org.  Since 2008, the program has provided new access to more than 12,000 films and videos and served hundreds of individuals and institutions.  The program is open to a variety of types of Texas films including home movies, advertisements, local television, community films, and more. 
 
 
Petroleum and the Permian Basin On Screen
The Petroleum Museum's Brown Bag Lunch and Lecture  
Tuesday, July 30th at 11:30 am 
 
The Texas Archive of the Moving Image shares archival films related to the oil industry and the Permian Basin at the Petroleum Museum's Brown Bag Lunch and Lecture in Midland.  This screening includes films collected via TAMI's award-winning Texas Film Round-Up and features vintage home movies, local newsreels, advertisements and industrial films related to West Texas and petroleum.  Cookies and drinks are provided. Program admission is free.
