The Texas Archive of the Moving Image will kick off the San Angelo Film Round-Up by participating in the History Harvest, a collaboration of many local organizations to create a community collection from the area's families to document local, regional and national heritage. Attendees will have the opportunity to view historic films and photographs from the region, as well as have their historical documents and photos scanned onsite. The History Harvest is free and open to the public, and all ages are encouraged to attend. Refreshments will be provided.
TAMI will collect films and videos during the History Harvest for free digitization in Austin. Films and videos may also be dropped off at the Stephens Central Library through February 1 (Mondays through Saturdays only). TAMI will return the original materials and digital copies by mail to the owners.
