- Albert Schwartz, who was among the American forces who liberated the Nordhausen concentration camp in World War II and later led efforts to end racial segregation, passed away in El Paso in March at the age of ninety-four. TAMI was lucky enough to digitize the home movies of Herman M. Schwartz, Albert's brother, where Albert can be seen.
