Texas Film Round-Up travels to Waco

Join us in preserving Texas history!

In partnership with the Waco-McLennan County Library and the Texas Film Commission, Waco and surrounding area residents are invited to bring their old family films and videotapes for FREE digitization. Mark your calendar and start gathering your items now!

WHEN:  Friday & Saturday, November 9 & 10
10:00 am – 6:00 pm

 

 

 

 

This program is open to home movies, advertisements, local television, community films, and more. Your films and videotapes are valuable records of Texas history and culture, and with your help, Texas’ media heritage will be available for future generations to appreciate. To qualify for free digitization:

  • up to 50 films and 10 videotapes,
  • be Texas-related (filmed in Texas, by a Texan, or be about Texas), and
  • a digital copy is contributed to the archive.

TAMI will digitize the materials in Austin and return them by mail to the owners at no cost, along with a digital copy.
