This year, three of Austin’s most anticipated events will coincide on Saturday, October 27. Austin Film Festival, Mexic-Arte Museum’s Viva la Vida Festival and Parade and the Texas Book Festival will be teaming up to offer a full day of culture and activities in the heart of downtown Austin.

Join Texas Archive of the Moving Image and the Austin Film Festival at the Paramount Tent on Congress Avenue for an exhibit on Texas film – old and new! Learn about The Lone Star State's film history with hands-on demonstrations from the TAMI. Stick around the tent to hear about the State's present and future with a panel of filmmakers telling Texas stories. Hear from screenwriters, directors, and producers about the process of filming in Texas as well as the art of portraying authentic Texas tales.

Saturday, October 27, 4:00pm – 6:00pm
Paramount Tent, 8th & Congress, Austin, TX 78701
