These films provide a glimpse into the lives and activities of the Murphy family in and around Marshall, TX in the 1950s and 60s. Taken by Jesse Tyson "J.T.", the Murphy Family home movies highlight his branch of the family and their lives in Muskogee, Oklahoma and travels around the country, especially visits to the family in Marshall, Texas. This film features a number of gatherings of the Murphy siblings at parents Ethel and Quincy's house.
