This 1990s video was created for the parents of Alamo Village propmaster Jerry Clardy and follows different events happening at the Alamo Village in Brackettville, including recreations of wild west gunfights for tourists which Clardy orchestrated; behind the scenes from Travis, a 1991 fantastical film about a modern teenage girl witnessing the events of The Alamo for which Clardy served as propmaster; and interviews with employees about Clardy’s hard work around the ranch, as well as his excellent cooking and garden. Alamo Village is a former movie set on the ranch of James T. 'Happy' Shahan. Featuring a three-quarter-scale replica of the Alamo compound, the Village was built for John Wayne's The Alamo (1960). Turned into a tourist attraction after production wrapped, the site was subsequently used in over 100 other westerns.
