This 1950s promotional spot profiles the “handsome residence halls” and student centers found at Rice University (then known as Rice Institute) in Houston. The advertisement appeared on television during the halftime of football games. It was likely produced by Ruth and Shad E. Graham. Ruth was a Rice graduate. Her husband, Shad, was the owner of Texas News Trailers as well as the Houston representative for Fox Movietone.
