    Blue Bonnet Game: Bluebonnet Bowl game between the Tennessee Volunteers and Tulsa Golden Hurricane at Rice Stadium on December 18, 1965. The Volunteers won 27-6.

    Bob Casey: Congressman Bob Casey of Texas speaks at an event in Houston. In a press interview, he talks about a recent trip to Vietnam and the ongoing military conflict there. Casey served in the United States House of Representatives from 1959 to 1976. 
    El Lago: Given its proximity to the Manned Spacecraft Center, the small city El Lago was home to several NASA astronauts. As manned missions for Project Gemini began in 1965, the El Lago City Council proposed an ordinance requiring news organizations to purchase permits in order to park mobile units on city streets during spaceflights. Newsmen strongly opposed the ordinance, characterizing it as "pay-for-news," while the council argued that it was necessary to pay for additional police protection.
