    COC Hospital Meeting, 02/18/63: The Houston Chamber of Commerce meets with the Harris County Commissioners Court to discuss the financing of a new city-county hospital. The Ben Taub General Hospital of Houston and Harris County opened in May.

    Com Ctr on Hospital, 02/19/63: The Harris County Commissioners Court debates the hospital financing proposal. Harris County Judge William M. Elliott comments on the delay for the city and county to come to an agreement. 
    Garwood, 02/21/63: The Honorable William St. John Gardwood responds to the Texas Senate's decision not to approve his nomination to the Board of Regents of the University of Texas. Garwood served as an associate justice of the Texas Supreme Court from 1948 to 1958. He also founded the St. John's School in Houston.
