Directed by Arthur Penn and starring Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty as the titular crime duo, Bonnie and Clyde (1967) was filmed all over North Central Texas. (The region played such a significant role in the film's production that Denton hosted its Southwest premiere.) This home movie provides a behind-the-scenes glimpse of filming in Venus. In the footage, locals explore the 1930s set pieces while the production crew prepares for the next shot. Also included is Dunaway and Beatty filming a scene outside a storefront. The scene comes from fairly early on the film, shortly after the couple introduce themselves.
