Border Devils is a feature-length western directed by William Nigh. Released in 1932, the film stars Harry Carey, George ‘Gabby' Hayes, and San Antonio-native Kathleen Collins. While not filmed on location in Texas, the film is set in the fictional border town of Dumfriesville. After being framed for murder, Jim Gray (Carey) assumes the identity of his fallen friend in an attempt to catch the real culprit, a gang leader known as the General. Collins plays Marcia Brandon, a rancher caught in the middle of the General's criminal endeavor as well as Gray's love interest.
