In an attempt to get her children into show business, George Noisom's mother Helen gave him and his two siblings theatrical nicknames. George's was Bubbles. His sisters were Pluma DeVonne and Derry Dee.
In The Wizard of Oz, Noisom played a winged monkey. He can be spotted in two scenes: in the first, he appears perched atop a window ledge as the Wicked Witch instructs him to kidnap Dorothy, in the second, he is one of two monkeys that flies off with Dorothy after their attack.
Noisom recounts seeing Mickey Rooney in Three Goats and a Blanket at the Country Dinner Playhouse in Dallas
