This footage features a series of unedited interviews for Austin's KVUE-TV between Roy Faires and the cast and crew of The Princess Bride (1987). In the first, actor Mandy Patinkin talks about how he scored the role of Inigo Montoya. During the second, actors Chris Sarandon and Christopher Guest discuss their villainous characters in the film, and the possibility of a sequel. In the third, director Rob Reiner and executive producer Norman Lear review their working relationship up to and including Princess Bride. For the fourth, writer William Goldman elaborates on his struggle to get the film made. During the fifth, actress Robin Wright, a Dallas native, discusses her transition from modeling to acting. And in the sixth, Faires jokes with actor Cary Elwes. Faires worked as a special project director and entertainment critic/reporter at KVUE-TV, Austin's ABC affiliate, from 1976-1989.
