In this segment, taped for KDFW's 'Eyewitness News' in 1976, Dallas-based reporter Jim Ruddy covers a cabrito cook-off in Waxahachie, Texas. Within the segment is footage from several of the day's competitive events, including cow chip tossing, goat pill flipping, tobacco spitting, and goat hollering. Also featured are interviews with several of the competitors, a few of whom demonstrate the proper technique for tossing a cow chip or flipping a goat pill.
