This home movie captures the Southwestern Sun Carnival parade and Sun Bowl game from January 1, 1941. Marching bands, military tanks, cavalries, and elaborate floats that follow the 1941 theme, 'A Pageant of Music,' make their way down the street. Footage of the Sun Bowl football game follows, with the Arizona State University Sun Devils taking on the Western Reserve University Spartans at Kidd Field. The Spartans won 26-13. Brief family scenes are also included.
