At the San Antonio City Council meeting on November 3, 1994, the San Antonio Mastersingers, the official chorus of the San Antonio Symphony, perform at the meeting. The city council issues a proclamation naming October 30 - November 5 Mastersingers Week in honor of the symphony chorus' 50th anniversary and contributions to the local and national arts community, then the chorus performs a selection from their current program.
