What a pleasant surprise to find my fathers (Dick Alexander) MastersDegree film project he made when at USC Film School in 1969 preserved online! My mom Jane Alexander did the costumes and makeup and I was the snotty little brother. My daughter is studying film at Santa Monica City College and asked me if I could find anything about the film...internet score!!! Some fun facts... the film was very popular as a student project it went on to win more awards at film festivals nationally and internationally than any other student film. Several of my dads classmates went on to become quite well known...John Millius and George Lucas for example. He was popular with his classmates as he had worked as an animator for Disney in his younger days and helped the film students with their storyboards. My dad enjoyed a long and distinguished career as a Colonel in the Air Force becoming chief of The Air Force Audio Visual Service.
