Produced by the Texas Department of Pubic Safety, this film details the newly implemented Motor Vehicle Inspection Program. Primarily intended for the staff of vehicle inspection stations, it provides step by step instructions for inspecting various vehicles and what is required to receive a passing rating.

Colonel Homer Garrison Jr.'s lifelong Texas law enforcement career began at age 19 (shortly after graduating from Lufkin High School), when he was appointed deputy sheriff of Angelina County. In 1930, he joined the newly forming Texas Highway Patrol. When the Texas Highway Patrol became part of the Texas Department of Public Safety in 1935, Col. Garrison became the new agency's first assistant director. In 1938, his role changed to director of the DPS and chief of the Texas Rangers, a position he held until his death in 1968. The Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum at Fort Fisher is named for him.

I am trying to find info on a 1955 ford,it was inspected at station no. 2p1241(6)or 4 by inspector billy wotforol or bill wotrord on 9/28/2001 insp.cert.no.H13719518 prev.cert.no H03950234 veh.registration sticker no.01666646WD on april 2003. 1955 ford v.i.n. u5gf169033 station name+number any documentation at all mileage prev.owner ect.This is a well loved +cared for automobile and deserving of a history, if not for the auto, for its prev.owner+familys desires to preserve it. any help will be greatly appreciated thank you .
